Erin
has grown throughout the years as a dancer and feels very lucky to have
had great experiences & worked with amazing artists. She comes from
a competitive background where she held the title of "Miss Dance
of Canada" in 1996 and several other dance titles. She has taught
and choreographed award wining dance pieces throughout her teaching career.
She began her professional training in New York City at Alvin Ailey American
Dance Company, where she studied and trained in the various forms of Modern
dance including Horton and Graham. While living in NY, Erin had the opportunity
to take many master classes featuring well known teacher/choreographers
such as Ray Leeper, Alan Sherfield, John Crutchman Liz Imperior, Frank
Hatchett and many more.
Erin started her professional career travelling across Mexico & North
America on Carnival cruise lines as a dancer/Performer. Returning to Toronto
she then has had many opportunities to perform at many celebrations &
shows including, Canada Day at Queen's Park (1998), Inside out productions
Just Jazz workshop (Nov2003), The Weekenders Awards Showcase Feb /03,
Motionball fundraiser for the special Olympics (Feb 2003) Olympics in
'Bust A Moove !' Fundraising Party at the Elmocambo (Mar 2003) and REVIVED
The HoneyKats Gala at the Betty Oliphant Theatre (May 2003). Most recently,
Erin was a part of Integration - The Helix Dance Project at The Betty
Oliphant Theatre Nov 2003.
Erin is thrilled to be working with Katarina Rajakovich, as she has learned
so much in just the past year and is looking forward to another exciting
year with the hot new Honeykats.
