Cara
Volchoff--producer
As a triple threat of the Randolph Academy of Performing Arts. Cara has
been extremely fortunate to experience work in many capacities of singing,
acting and dance. Currently, Cara is a production manager for 3 television
series produced by Breakthrough Films and Television. Working behind the
scenes has really allowed her the opportunity to better assess the "business"
behind the business, and to help assist in future self-produced projects.
To
satisfy her creative side Cara has worked as a vocal coach and choreographer
for Theatre Aquarius and studios such as the Randolph Academy of Performing
Arts, The Dance Centre, Dance Factory, and Sherry Walsh Academy of Dance
Arts.
Memorable
roles as an actor include the witch in the Theatre Aquarius stage productions
of "Into the Woods" , hosts of WTN's "Girl Talk",
Paramount Pictures "Superstar" and a reoccurring role on the
docudrama series "Class Act" for the Life Network this past
season/
Balancing
performance, coaching, choreographing, and teaching, Cara has been able
to enjoy the benefits of working on both sides of the camera and stage,
while, also experiencing her now found interest in film and television
production.
Cara
is thrilled to be working alongside Katarina Rajkovic to produce "Integration",
the original work of Linda Garneau. The Art of Dance can only survive
if those who eat, sleep and breath it share it with the rest of the world--
being integrated is the first step!
